Well zombie fans do we have a treat for you – we have an interview with actor Mark Wynn from the upcoming zombie movie Bong of the Dead by Thomas Newman. Having been on set I saw firsthand how Mark was the life of the cast and crew. Bouncing from place to place with an insane interest in everything that was going on, Mark was always a pleasure to speak with.

Thomas Newman said of Mark Wynn, “He is a true professional who brings an incredible amount of energy to the part of Edwin. His ability to take the character and make it his own was awe inspiring.”

The following is our interview with Mark Wynn about Bong of the Dead.

1) Q. What attracted you to Bong of the Dead?

The title, the concept, the trailer, the character, the comedy, the script, the blood, the guts and the chronic……the chronic, oh I said that.

2) Q. What was your favorite part of the experience?

My favorite part of the experience was what I took away from the film and what I learned which was basically I can do anything. I am a movie-making-machine. I was born to do this. He is a mastermind with a vision and the balls to see it through.

3) Q. What was it like working with your co-stars Simone Bailly & Jy Harris?

It was a trip, like a magical “trip”. Both their reputations preceded them so I had a big bong to fill. Jy and Simone are dedicated, detailed, driven and destined for greatness. I have a great deal of respect for them both, thanks guys.

4) Q. What was your favorite scene that you were involved in?

It’s hard to pick a favorite scene…But the dance montage/party scenes were always hilarious. Pretty much any scene where I got to wear just underwear or something revealing.

5) Q. What did you think about all the blood and gore?

There is so much blood, guts and gore in Bong of the Dead. It’s got over 800 gallons of blood just in one scene, and 1/3 of that was in my face. It was a blood bath. Bloody fu#@ing awesome!!
